Clan Policy

Innersphere Clan Policy

After leadership discussion we came up with a guide which represents the way our clan works. Its not neccessarily a strict ruleset but a close translation of our clans ideals and how we deal with most matters. For an officer list please see the front home page.

 MEMBERS BEHAVIOR

  1. We are not a griefing clan or a pk clan. We don't pk or grief people that are xping because you want to use the same xp spot they are in, or because before merges you were not friendly with those people.

  2. If any clan member intentionally pk's another clan/ally member as a form of aggression they will be immediately dismissed from clan.

  3. Aggressive/abusive/sexist/racist comments by members is absolutely not allowed and we have a “three strikes you’re out” policy for such behavior.

  4. Any member that is victimized or strongly offended by such language is encouraged to send a screenshot to an officer (required as evidence and for context). It is that officers responsibility to inform other officers of the complaint who can then take action.

  5. If any disagreement with another clan/ally member it is not allowed to fight openly in clan/ally chat. It is recommended to inform an officer about the problem and he will handle the matter with direct communication with the other member of the clan/ally who cause the problem.

  6. If there is any problem with an alliance member, clan members are asked not to take any action but send a detailed mail to an officer (either in game or via website) and they will handle the problem. It is the officers responsibility to inform all other officers and also to inform the clan member of any outcomes.

 CLAN EVENTS

  1. Participation is expected from all available clan members in the various events of the clan, where realife/timezone allows.

  2. All scheduled events will be announced on this website (www.IS-L2.com) at least 3 days before the event. Check events page mainly but also forums (recent post activity is on the front home page).

  3. It is the officers responsibility to make sure that the events are posted accurate. It is the members responsibility to convert to their local timezone and be aware of when it takes place for them.

  4. All members must complete the form in the website where it says which events you know for fact that you can join.

  5. It is the members responsibility to inform the officers if they will not be able to participate in major events (sieges, tw).

  6. If the leader/officer responsible for each event calls in clan for people and you are online, you must respond to him that you are available but may keep your current activity unless the officer/leader requests your presence in the event.

  7. It is requested that you are ready to participate at least 45 minute before each event as time is needed to configure and form parties from the available people/classes.

CLAN VENTRILO

  1. Our clan has a Ventrilo server in order to provide better and faster communications between members for all the activities (sieges, tw, events, pvp, xp).

  2. Every member must have an active working Ventrilo account. If not please contact a Ventrilo admin in order to create one for you asap, well before any events. See Ventrilo page for information and download.

  3. Ventrilo must be used by all members in order to participate in any of the clan events.

  4. If someone because of hardware or network problems cannot keep Ventrilo open please inform the appropriate officer before each clan event.

  5. All members that are participating in clan events they must have Ventrilo open in listening mode. Speaking is optional.

  6. It is encouraged that all members login ventrilo as often as possible, especially when they are ingame, as a way of registering as online.

  7. There are various channels to suit all occassions including silent text mode ones, so by logging in you dont always need to talk or listen (unless events). It is just helpful to be listed and contactable if needed (text ping)
  8. Sexual harassment, by members inside vent are absolutely not allowed and if it comes to  officers attention of reported such matters it will mean immediatelly dismiss of that person from the clan..

CLAN DROPS AND EQUIPMENT

  1. Generally equipment stored in the Clan Hall (CH) is for use by clan members (following 3 month probation for new members), but there likely will also be gear located on other clan storage dorfs.

  2. Equipment may be borrowed by requesting specific items on the clan website Gear Request page.

  3. All members who are in need of any skill books or equipment from raid bosses that are in the weekly events they must first inform the appropriate officer in order to be in the specific list. Currently this officer is Kimanak.

  4. It is the responsibility of the designated officer to promptly reply to all gear requests or add people to any specific list.

  5. Items lent and/or given will be listed on website along with receiver’s name.

  6. Items in the clan warehouse are only to be used on your main/sub/alt. If on loan they are not to be reloaned, traded/crushed/overenchanted.

  7. Any item given to a clan member is not to be sold to make adena. You may not ask for items in the warehouse unless you plan on using them yourself for main/sub/alt not for the purpose of making adena.

  8. Drops are handled with care and its transparent where they go. Officers/leader make sure all are listed and also to who it goes. Currently the Drop Lists are placed in a spot where all people can see.

CLAN WEBSITE

  1. Our clan has the website www.is-l2.com for all the members to use freely. Our website is more than a forum page and its purpose is to help members communicate, be informed and increase organization between them.

  2. All members are allowed to use the clan website with no exceptions.

  3. It is a member responsibility to check the website at least twice per week in order to be informed about the exact dates and times of clan events and also any announcement by officers/leader.

  4. It is forbidden for all members to use ‘’foul language’’ inside the website or to directly use the forums area in order to ‘’flame’’ another member. The member behaviour guidelines also apply to the website.

  5. All members are invited to use the Olympiad class based groups page. If you come with more than 5 members please inform me in order to appoint a group administrator.

  6. All officers/leader have the right to edit/delete a post if any of the above rules apply in your post.

CLAN BOT/EBAY POLICY

  1. Our clan policy on botting/ebay is to strongly discourage. We are not a bot clan, but we understand this is a game and people have different circumstances, so we dont blindly sterotype or hate. We would like to help the community/players stop using rather than leave game.

  2. If a member buys adena/items with real life money ultimately its his personal and private choice, but we ask to keep it for himself only.

  3. If a member is found to use bot program while in party with clan/ally members he will be dismissed from clan for putting in danger other players and property.

  4. We are realistic and in any clan it can be hard to ensure all members dont bot, if you do then at the least do not have auto-rez open at any time for any reason. This would of mean immediate dismissal from clan.

  5. Our clan has ways to provide gear, skill books, and adena in order to help some members. Also our clan encourages people to xp in party. This is a good way to xp/quest/make adena in order to avoid any bot/ebay solution you may have needed in the past.

  6. If a member discovers another member using bot it is highly recommended to report this to officer/leader privately in order for them to take action.

  7. Members who have been found to use bot programs will at the least not be trusted with any clan items/gear because they put in danger things that the clan has worked hard to obtain.
